I don't really have an excuse for this being late - I simply forgot to upload it. I'm admittedly on cloud nine after a comment about Menace #29 was featured along with the puzzle, so I'm hoping today's Mini will similarly appeal to y'all. March's other puzzles are being prepared, so in the meantime, remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left!

Once more, Texas heads into testing season. We have English language processing tests for our emerging bilingual learners AND the SATs soon, and then comes the STAAR tests. No wonder we teachers complain about being barely able to teach the material. Today's Menace will likely not be as much of a menace this time, but I'm working on a particularly beastly one for next month. Next puzzle coming up is a Mini on Friday, so until we see each other again, remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! [full screen] [No PDF this time] [puz] [crosswordr]
Thank goodness I have a long weekend. I've had a wild work week already, but a work week full of successes with the students I work with - one of them just finished his algebra review and powered through several extremely tough questions, while helping me discover that there was an error in two of the questions. OOPS. He is probably one of my favorite students because of his willingness to bring what he can, as well as his general attitude towards life.
Today's puzzle has some tough spots, but it shouldn't give you too much trouble this weekend. As always, remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! [crosshare] [crosswordr] [puz] [pdf]
At this point, I'm not sure if titles are always necessary for these guys.
I'm writing this post up on Monday morning and it is damp and cold - my least favorite combination. Longing for cocoa and a warm blanket. Hoping you, reader, find similar comforts today, and remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! [full screen] [puz] [pdf]
... so guess who forgot to make this post on Thursday. ...
Anyway! Remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! |
