One of my favorite grids to have made, and Adam Aaronson was entirely to blame for this, as a comment he made was the inspiration for an Et Tu, Etui-style gimmick. Adam's got awesome puzzles on his end and I highly recommend his Fun Size puzzles as well, if you're looking for something more approachable.
Well, at least the site hasn't crashed. Let's see where this goes.
My fourth "tournament" as a novice solver and I'm so far really enjoying all of the grids that have been put up so far. I can't really spoil the order of who has done what week (you'll just have to see them for yourself), but the grids so far, even on the Smooth (novice) difficulty, have shown that they have teeth. I lost my possibly having a perfect streak this go around due to my not spotting two errors, which have all but guaranteed my not getting in the top 3 so far, but there's still a couple of lulus left from what I've seen that could potentially make this anyone's game.
Not like I'd make the championship solve in the first place due to my not being in the Stormy division, but I look forward to the finale in a few weeks. Bravo to John and Andrew for hosting these for an online audience!
This was inspired by comments Ricky Cruz had made at some point this year about how we can incorporate more recent pop culture additions, and this comment of his got me to explore a little more about being creative and just being more relaxed about stuff.
