I'll admit this was a low-effort shitpost, considering a major problem with part of the fill, but better to have fun and make silly grids and more music recommendations while waiting for the next grid to drop. See y'all Friday (hopefully, if we don't have power knocked out by the blast coming through) and remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left!

Funny story on remaking this one - so it turns out, with my new word list settings, my original grid was outright unfillable and badly organized. This particular grid needed an extra black block and a more experienced set of eyes.
I'm glad I'm doing this Rehash series as a means to go over what did and did not work. Stats and puzzle follow, and remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! Word Count: 16 Avg. Word Length: 5 Black Blocks: 9 (18.36%) Difficulty: Tricky Enough BTW, I was goofing a bit but I think I'll use the below tweet for how I'll describe my puzzles.
The premise for what I'll call the Rehash series is simple - I go back over my earlier puzzles and find which ones need quite a bit of work but had good seeds or clues, and I remake the puzzle. Doing such might help me find my way around the new word lists I use these days. Stats follow, as well as the puzzle. Regular puzzles will return February 3rd/4th. Remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left!
Word Count: 16 Black Squares: 5 (10.2%) Average Word Length: 5.50 Difficulty: Tricky enough for a mini
This one's a small experiment with some features that premiered recently on Crosshare. I'm not bothering with word count or difficulty level because I made sure this grid was more on the easier side. Have fun and, as always, remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left!
Total Words: 68
Black Squares: 49 Avg. Word Length: 5.18 Difficulty: High end of Tricky (3.5/5) Blog post after the puz. Trust me, I rambled. Remember - when nothing seems to go right, go left! |
